Let me just say for the record, I am not a professional seamstress. That said, if you want to make one of our scarves into a silk streamer, wing, flag or billow - if I sew it before it's dyed, I sew with silk thread which also dyes to match the color of your scarf... that makes it blend in visually (which helps to hide any imperfections!).

Below is a chart that indicates where the seam will be - the black line is the seam. You can get combinations by ordering both - for example a billow/wing combo works fine on a 35x84.

Flag Any scarf can be used to make a flag - just depends what size you want Seam: $20
Streamer 11x60, 14x72 all work well, or you can request a custom size. Seam: $13
Billow Any of the 5mm China Silk scarves will work Seams: $33
Wing This works with either the 35x84 or the semicircle Seam: $20
Wing/Flag Combo This works with the semicircle Seams: $30
Altered Wing This works with the semicircle - this seam is used to modify the larger semicircle to be a smaller semicircle. The resulting wing will have a seam in the center, but when it's in use, it's not noticeable (see video.) Seams: $30
