We recommend dry clean only for your scarves. However, if you insist on washing them, do so at your own risk.
With that disclaimer noted, I have on occasion run scarves through the washer without a problem. The China Silk can go into a dryer, but not the Chiffon! The Chiffon should be hung to dry and when hung pulled slightly to keep it from shrinking. Please understand that you may affect your color over time if you wash instead of dry cleaning.
You can iron them if your iron is set to the correct setting for silk.
When storing your scarf, if you don't want to hang it - we suggest rolling them instead of folding them the wrinkle patterns are easier to get out. Or if you have one of the 5mm dance veils, you can squish them into a ball and stick them in a drawer - they look lovely crinkled!
